We’ve rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed over 4,500 cats and kittens in West Tennessee. Most of the cats we rescue need medical intervention to address various illnesses and ailments. At Purrfect Match veterinary costs are over 50% of our annual budget.
We’ve Been Creating Success Stories for 20 Years
We rely on our incredible daily volunteers, foster homes, talented veterinarians and our generous donors to achieve success for the 500+ cats we rescue each year.
In addition, we work with adoption partners in New England who have accepted over 4,500 of our rescues (fully vetted, socialized, and ready for new homes) since we began transporting cats to them in 2015.
They have found permanent, loving homes for each cat we’ve saved.

Here is a breakdown of how we help cats:
Basic well checkups and exams with necessary vaccines cost $150 per cat.
Spay or neuter surgery can cost $50-$75 per cat.
We help unwell cats with complex surgeries which can cost thousands of dollars.
We pay for medications and other supplies to manage ongoing illnesses; these medications can cost hundreds of dollars per month.

Although we have access to discounted vet services provided by the Veterinary School at Mississippi State University for complex cases, our veterinary costs surpass $150,000 each year.

Our Cats & Kittens Need You
Meet Lake, Promise, and Darling our most recent success stories here at Purrfect Match!
Promise was born inside an abandoned car near the Commodore Apartments in Millington. Promise & Pia now have each other, along with two little girls to grow up with in NH.
Lake was rescued along with her five kittens and they were all happily rehomed to Maine.
Darling and her siblings were extremely timid and hissy when they were first rescued as homeless kittens in Millington. It took a lot of effort and patience, but Darling finally settled in and was rehomed to New England.
