Rapunzel

When Rapunzel arrived at Memphis Animal Services, she was critically ill with a severe upper respiratory that had especially impacted her eyes. She was so little then, just a kitten, and pain was probably the only thing she'd known in her short life. When Purrfect Match rescued her, she was easily one of the most pitiful creatures we've ever seen and it was only through the heroic efforts of her PM foster mom Nicole and extensive medical care that Rapunzel survived.

Fast forward several months and Rapunzel transformed into a healthy, beautiful and happy one-eyed kitty! Her spirit and resilience remind us that every life is worth fighting for, no matter how difficult the journey.

Once our part in Rapunzel’s story was done and she was healthy, socialized and ready for a home, our wonderful adoption partners at HART of Maine accepted her into their program. Rapunzel found an amazing home and we were so excited to hear from her new mom!

"My name is Julianna and I just adopted Rapunzel yesterday. I fell in love when I met her at HART and I am just over the moon to have her home! I'm enjoying her so much already - she's being so brave, exploring, enjoying getting pets and playing with some toys too. I have a vet welcome visit scheduled for Friday. Thank you so much for rescuing her!"
